Everyday we are bombarded by toxins - from the food we eat, the air we breathe and also the water that we drink. Being the hard worker that we are, our body does get rid of a lot of toxins by itself, but there are some toxins that remain in our system that it cannot remove easily. Besides, having too much toxins will put a lot of undue stress on the body. This is not healthy in the long run. When these toxins build up, we tend to feel sluggish, tired, have low energy levels and generally drained. So, what is the best way to detox and cleanse our system of toxins totally ?

The very first step in a detox program is to ensure that we are eating a healthy diet.

The next step is to make sure that we have sufficient exercise. Whatever exercise we may choose, be it running, jogging, brisk walking, swimming, cycling, aerobic dancing etc, it is essential that the program make us sweat. Sweating is important as it will allow our bodies to excrete many toxins through our sweat.

In addition, we should drink clean water on a regular basis as that will be another key to helping our body maintain its healthy state after we have performed a cleanse.

Important

We should not start a detox if we are very sick. We need to start our healthy lifestyle FIRST, before we start a detox so we have a reserve that our body can draw on to allow our liver to do its job properly.

If you fail to do this you can easily overwhelm your liver’s ability to process these toxic substances that are being eliminated and you will become VERY sick and wish you had never done the detox. I have seen this many times so please use some caution here. –>
